it's the spanish release, the difficulty on that one is higher than the final release by electronic Arts.

The Spanish release also had a slightly different title sequence... some cool "equalizer" LED's and an A500 shot - but from what I recall it still had the background. Like dlfrsilver mentioned, it's insanely difficult without cheats.
