How prolific was the Brainbow font?
I developed the game called "Brainbow - The Rainbow Puzzler" back in the day with AMOS and I even designed a fancy font for the game, and I had good reviews of it in Amiga Power and everything. The thing is, the font got copied to various other places (I remember seeing it where I wasn't expecting to see it) and it seemed quite popular.
I based the look of the font (letters with projections sticking out of parts of them) off the BBC News of the day, which had a similar look, but it wasn't a straight-out copy, from what I remember. So, did anyone here ever come across a font called Brainbow, and what did you think of it? If you want to see the game itself, it's available on Assassins PD Games AND TOSEC, it seems. |

Must admit to not being able to recognise the standard fonts by name. Could you post a sample image that might jog memories better?

Reminds me of the SOTB font, but less 'spiky'.

I still have the game itself, as an ADF, but as part of the Assassins collection. I would link to it here, but I don't know what the rules here are for Shareware game distribution are, even if it's my own.

Brainbow does exist as a TOSEC file which is the original version I sent to 17-Bit Software (I think), but the copies of the software I've got are part of collections, therefore other software is there. And where should I upload them (if I can)?

No-one answered my question: Where should I upload them? And let me know if they need to be taken down because other software is on the disks (as I mentioned).
