indeed my friend, but these are much smaller to find mounting space compaired to nearly any sff atx psu

(infact you can get the plug type AC->DC) so all you have is a plug and a lead to the machine)

OR

its possible to mount inside an A500 a small laptop power pack and the picopsu (you may invalidate the Ac->Dc adapter warrenty taking it out of its plastic case shielding)..

OR

rob components from an OLD dvd player, the internal power boards are small yet lump out aveargely 60watts (must be them juice loving mpeg boards ) most that I have worked on have +5, +12 and -12 (some have +18 wierd) but all are silked boards for componets that i have worked with (gotta love IEEE / FCC standards )

Microsoft specify a 96W PSU with a peak pulse of 160W for max 10 sec.
According to Bunnie's Hacking the Xbox

Slightly off topic, what sort of power requiremnt do we actually need.
Must admit I'm actually looking at using the old brick.
Using A1200 + apollo 1230/40 LC + CF card + DVDrom + 3com ethernet card
DVD is only used occationally, cf requirements are minimal
Just goto find A brick that works - got a a1200 with no lead and several a500's of questionable heritage.

The regular Amiga A1200 brick is only 23W and heavy duty A500 brick 60W.
