Trained by Quartz

Guys

I know this is a longer shot than looking for WMD in Iraq but does anyone have any games trained by Quartz?

In 1992 I trained a handful of games (only about 5 or 6) for Quartz. Because I didn't have a modem then I was "training-by-mail" which leads me to think that there isn't an awful lot of my trained games knocking about.

But if anyone has them (I can't even remember what they were but I think one of them was Santa's Christmas Caper or something equally appalling)

I'd be over-joyed if any had them!

Cheers dudes!

awww man!!

Any chance I can have a copy of the disk? That is the first trainer we did!

I remember Jaz coming up for the weekend for a party and after that we spent about 8 hours working out how the trainer should work and how to get the trainer into the right space on the disk & mod the bootblock!

That would be ace, cheers dude!

EDIT: Got it from your site. Thanks mate, that's great!

8 hours for a trainer?! I'm glad the hacking tools that are available now make work a lot faster than that!

heh the easy bit was finding the lives with Action Replay!

Coding the trainer took a few hours also because it was a novel bit of code for me. I'd always done intros & small demos but here I was doing something I'd never done before.

Bootblock bit was easy cos I'd messsed about with it before, but we had to also find enough contiguous free disk space for the trainer and then get the trainer into that disk location.

After that, the other trainers were fast lil buggers
