Looking for FS-UAE config file for Legend of Faerghail...

I have had bad luck running "LoF" in both Winfellow and WinUAE: one don't allow me to answer NPCs with written answers, the other gets "Structure Table Full" error message if I take two steps in the game environment.

Do you FS-UAE users have good experience with LoF? Does anyone have a stable config file for it? If I just let the "Additional Configurations" tab be on Auto (68000, standard floppy speed) everything goes super-slow, there is lots of screen tearing between frames, and the mouse moves like molasses. How do I speed it up? Choosing anything other than 68000 processor makes the screen content an inch wide.

First sounds like a bad crack (or bad image) and second sounds like corrupted image, another possible reason is not enough memory due to having too many floppy drives enabled.

Buggy versions are apparently quite common: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=34846

Well since I have my savegame file, I can use any core "LoF" files I want, do you know of any "good" cracks? Any ones that are better than the others?

I haven't tested but http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=397168&postcount=13 seems have some information about working version.

Saves may or may not work between different versions. No one knows without testing..

I think I found the versions that link is referring to, on SPS: http://www.softpres.org/games

Just going on the filename in your link, I may have found those ones mixed within the other versions at planet emu: http://www.planetemu.net/rom/commodo...-disk-1-of-3-a

I have no idea if it really is the bugfree "oct 17th 1990" versions, though.

I got the game working with the new .adf files and my saves, and I got it running in FS-UAE 2.6.2! Trouble is, everything is moving really slow, is there any way you can speed up processing speed while FS-UAE is emulating? Kind of like WinUAE can do if you press F12?

The game seems to work just fine here (at least immediately after starting it). Speed seems "normal", of course it takes a while when stuff loads from floppy, as usual. I tested with the everything set to defaults (i.e. default A500 model) with 3 disks from "GameBase Amiga" inserted into 3 floppy drives.

You can use F12+W (or Alt+W in the latest dev versions) to toggle warp mode on/off - useful to speed up long waits.
