Burning Rubber

Hey guys,

Does anyone know how to get Burning Rubber working?

Tried all the ADFs from TOSEC, after the intro and selecting "Start" the various disks load and then the game stops showing a red screen.

Used various Quickstarts but no joy.

The AGA version works fine; it's just the OCS / ECS version.

Try booting from second disk. I had playable A500 version long ago.

Found a better solution though, if I use this set you can see the intro and the game then loads / works correctly:

Previously I was using:

never tried this game but i wanted to download the best working set anyhow.
the problem is that i cant find these two disks on the eab server

no [a] versions are there when searching for disk1 and 2, DamienD could you please post the crcs for the best working set? that way i can make sure i get the right ones for sure

edit - DamienD, it seems the set i had matched the ones you posted in the zone. the version of tosec incleded on the ezb server must have updated filenames from your set

and
Burning Rubber (1993)(Ocean)(Disk 2 of 4)(Main)[cr HLM][a].adf = Burning Rubber (1993)(Ocean)(Disk 2 of 4)(Main)[cr HLM][t +4 HLM][bootable].zip

judging by the filenames i gather the [f HLM] is cos HLM fixed something and also we have the option to either watch the intro and then swap to the main disk or just boot the main disk and that way according to the filename there is a trainer
