No. My PC is my main source income. But would trade my old Athlon XP 2400 for a A4000 PPC board.

I would.
It's a Pentium 3 @ 800! That's what you get if you ask PC instead of "your main computer" (in my case a Mac :P) |

If I had one old spare PC then I would love to swap it for A1200... but since I don't - NO WAY (for the reasons mentioned above)

Depends on your definition of an Amiga. If you mean "a PPC mainboard with a G4 CPU capable of running Amiga OS 4.1" I'd sell my crappy PC in an instant. If you mean a very upgraded (with at least a PPC card) A4000 or tower-ized A1200, I'd also consider it. Otherwise, no way.

Depends. My old PIII for an A1200 with an accelerator is of course a no-brainer, but a brand new peecee, no way, it's not like A1200s are hard to find.

My Amiga and my modern PC (a Mac actually) meet different needs and I couldn't fathom having to do without one or the other.

For a towered 060 Amiga with a Cybervision card, yeah i would , but if it was a PC that i had only just bought 6 months earlier and spent $1000 on then i would have to say no! .. if the PC was about 3 years old then i would say yes, but i wouldn't say yes if it was just a stock A1200, it would need a few AWESOME extra bits
