How to use Kara animated fonts

I cant find any documentation on how to use the Kara animated fonts. Anyone have the manual?

If I remember correctly, they were animbrushes for each glyph, right? If that's right, you can just use them in any animation-supporting paint program like DPaint or Brilliance.
