A savestate upped to the zone, need someone to resave to uncompressed.
Ok, here's the thing. I was playing Goblins 3, saving now and then (savestates). Then one day all of a sudden, NONE of the 12 Goblins savestates worked, all that happens is that I see the screen hear 0.5 secs of sound and it reboots. This is not the only weird thing, ALL my other savestates for other games works, just not the Goblins ones. I have tried different version of WinUAE and alot of other things, no change. So I gave up on the game. A couple of weeks later I reinstalled Windows because I finally found XP version of sounddrivers for my weird sound card, so I installed windows (XP as I had Vista). When windows was installed I tried loading the savestates again, not thinking they would work, BUT THEY DID!... now 2 weeks later I was thinking of continuing the game and now they don't work again... WTF??!??!?????
Anyway, too lazy to post those logs and shit, could someone try to load the savestate and if successfull, resave it to uncompressed, cause uncompressed maybe works (shouldn't, but who knows). Thanks. |

That's why I use a REAL Amiga with REAL in-game saving...

Heh, was thinking I could get an attacked like this as I always say use WinUAE and not the real thing , well, this is the first time savestates does this to me , and I'm recording the game for a longplay so can't use the REAL in-game saving .

You get to say it frequently how WinUAE is better than the real thing, so I've just made an example, how... it's not always like that Don't mind me, just have fun creating another cool video for your site we all enjoy! |

It is a bug, try enabling for example uaeserial.device or uaenet.device before loading the state and it should work
