Angry Winuae control bug

Hi,

I found a control bug that has been in Winuae for yeeeeeears.

If you press down + right + fire. The fire input will be ignored.

To put it another way:

in IK+ there is no way to do a high kick if you are facing right but it works if your facing left.

This applies to other games as well.

I am using keyboard layout B, I agree it works with keyboard layout A.

I noticed in windows pressing those keys produces a keyboard error sound. I think there may be some kind of problem specific to ps2 keyboards using the ctrl and arrow keys. I remapped fire to a different key and it works fine.

Probably the keyboard manufacturer didn't expect those 3 keys to be pressed at the same time. It is not limited to PS/2 keyboards.

The issue itself is called Key jamming:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rollover_(key)

I heard it for the first time when playing Chrono Trigger (SNES) on an emulator, which requires a similar 3 simultaneous key presses. Many other people have had this issue.

One possible solution is to set the key combination to a specific key, in other words have a (real) keyboard key which emulates depressing the 3 keys at the same time.

It is probably doable in Winuae by using the configurations of the Input panel and using the "Custom Event" . But since I have never done it, I can't be sure. Maybe someone else can give you a further hint on that.
