I saw that custom format music is giving everyone headaches.

As posted before by MrGibby, Deliplayer @ http://www.deliplayer.com is the best and, in most cases, the only Windoze player available (did I mention freeware?) that successfully plays those old and rare tunes.

For MODS, XMs, S3M format modules and the like, it gets the job done in a better way than the usual MODplug and Winamp apps.

To get all those old tunes, pay a visit to the outstanding eXoticA site.

Happy Hunting!

Deliplayer x86 is showing its age, and the developers seem to have lost all motivation go further work on it.

I have been playin Future Composer tunes in Jam instead.

Check it out yourself:

I think somebody succeeded to compile UADE on Windows couple years ago... But I couldn't find it lately.

If the post you saw was the one on the UADE forum then it concerned compiling under cygwin which does work but is (sort of) cheating, a native Windows build would require considerable rewriting.
