Be nice to have some proper textures on the planets and ships, although I guess only AGA machines would be able to run this at a decent speed. Still be great though...

If I can overspill from another thread for a second, I'd have to say these two points sum up why I consider the PC & modern consoles to be dead platforms (for my purposes, not commercial), and the Amiga (and also the C64, Amstrad CPC, Spectrum etc...) here to stay...

Hi AmiGer,

This is excellent work! Makes the game more interesting. I have 2 suggestions:

i) Would it be possible to make the "Adv" logo much smaller as I think it is obstructive on the map screen? Would it be possible to only use it on the main title screen? It currently lessens the personality of the individual screens.

ii) I think it would a cool idea if you used a variable to store the no. of worlds you visited? This could be displayed on one of the existing screens? Maybe the counter could be incremented after each hyperspace jump made (including/excluding misjumps into witchspace) ? I'm not sure how easy to add another counter to the game... Is this an easy change considering how well you know the code?

Well, you're right. That's trash... I will make it smaller so it fits to the title bar...

Hmm, it's not that hard to create a new counter...
What do you mean with "witchspace" ? The space without stars and many of thargoids ?

I will look what I can do but it will take some time... Maybe I will include the changes in a next release...

Yep, Witchspace where the Thargoids wait when Hyperspace fails now and again.
