which classic WB to install on real A1200?

Firstly, Happy New Year to all Amigans

I want to install ClassicWB on my real A1200 and would like to know what you guys think is the best version I should install for my setup as follows:

-Blizzard 030 @50
-32 MB ram
-1084 Commodore monitor

I'll be installing a clean copy onto my DH0. Can't wait to get it working to show some of my Mac buddies...the screenshots of the homepage look amazing !

ahhhh then you will need OS3.5 or

Classic WB 3.1 FULL to take all the advantage that your 030 equipped Amiga can offer you

then you need to register WHDLoad then download KG's whdload packs

And praised be the monkey, for he giveth his time and patience... for us.... the undeserving

sorry just got done watching one of 'them' types of movies

Thanks for the compliment.

If you wait a little longer, I'll be releasing some new packs with a WHDLoad launcher built in. It allows searching for WHDload games with a single double click and adds them to a list box that can be brought up by hitting the F1 key. With KG recently completing his packs, I thought it an essential addition:

http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=33817

I'll be uploading these newer ClassicWB packs over the next few days, perhaps even today if I get no interruptions.

While I'm here, I'll also point out another solution just in case it's more suited to your needs:

http://amigasys.extra.hu/

It allows the use of OS3.5-3.9, so you may want to consider it.

The advsp full version of ClassicWB works beautifully on my a1200 (6mb RAM, 030/42, 6gig hdd).

Thanks Bloodwych, it's brilliant! And it runs pretty quick (even better when I get an 040 in there!).

Now I've just to register WHDLOAD and get all the installs on there Loving my Amiga all over again!

a bit off topic:

I use OS3.9 on my AGA030/40 A1200 (hires interlace, 128 colours wb).
It´s amazingly fast.

Ah, you have a point actually, sorry. ADV and ADVSP look like they are designed for the higher resolutions - when I installed it defaulted to interlaced 15khz until I set it to Productivity through the monitor. So you might need a lower version.

Still only just getting used to all the Amiga stuff again! You'll be so glad when it arrives, I've been playing Xenon II and Worms on mine recently!

I'd recommend FULL, I use it on my A1200 and it's been superb. It offers a shedload of stuff, and takes up bugger all resources.

MAGIC IN MY AMIGA
