No problem Graham glad I can add my contribution also.

Tomorrow I'll test more thoroughly Zool 2 AGA to see if with other options I can pass the joystick problem. And I'll have to compare Zool 2 ECS in WinUAE to see if the slowdown is a feature of the game, because I've never played it before, or a problem also with my 040 board.

I'll test also Shuttle, the only one lacking of your list.

EDIT: OK Graham I confirm the slowdown of Zool2 ECS as stated

I think it's great that other users are involved in the 040 problem list.

@Xpect: A game was still forgotten Can you pleas "Enchanted Land" on your 040 board to try? there are graphics problems in game with 040 and 060 Blizzard.

@Graham: You can Xenon to the list add .The game freezes always into level 1, it happens to different places(I know from another Amiga Board that also the PPC users are affected by this bug)

No problem Irek, I'll include it in my next round of tests later today.

However that's a point - I'm trying these on OS3.0 so if anyone is using a different OS it might be worth mentioning that too.
well, actually i was NOT too much generalizing here... i changed a 030 card for a 040 card and tested about 20 installed whdload games - maybe 5 worked. the rest did not, even after playing around with the tooltypes. i had various errors displayed. i decided that the 040 is unusable. then i read somewhere: try it with 3.1. so i put the 040 in an amiga 1200 (escom) with Kick 3.1... and suddenly nearly everything worked... apart from some small problems, like desribed in this thread.

So my advice: DO NOT USE AN APOLLO 040/25 with KICK 3.0!!!

hope this helps some other ppl here :-)

Last games tested.

Zool2 AGA is a no go. Joystick doesn't work, for much that I tried settings.

If NOCACHE is used cannot startgame and the credists don't appear, only character running and background scroolling, nothing else.

@Graham: You can Xenon to the list add .The game freezes always into level 1, - confirmed and playability is 2 times slower than normal

Nice Boo Boo. Although I was only testing the games of this list to be able to do a report if the A3640 had problems or not with them, it's nice to know we have an alternative on Zool 2. Thanks!

The game "Paperboy" can be removed from the 040 WHDLoad problems list. The solution can be found here.

Try it with "NOMMU" option, it should work.

Does that mean it works for you when you use NOMMU Tooltype? Here it doesn`t work. I`ve also added a bugreport on whdload mantis but without result. Maybe my APollo1240 is responsible or only a bad install. I want to figure out this.

Yes, the game works but only with NOMMU option on my 040 Blizzard, otherwise the game crashes at the beginning with a fault.
If you have problems with WHLoad version, try it with the JST installer.
The JST version works here without problems.

I have a good news for all 040 users it is a new update for the game Xenon on the WHDLoad page released.
Of course, I have tested the new slave and the game works without problems on my Blizzard, so I think that this title can be removed from the WHDLoad ´040 problems list.
Thank you Psygore!
