Figures.....turn my back for 5 minutes and FWW comes out of "retirement" to conduct another one of his Ami game polls No biggie that I didn't get a chance to vote, I guess. I would have cast another boring <yawn!> vote for Slam Tilt (Fightin' Spirit being its only real competition). Relatively speaking, the quality of Ami games released in '96 reached an all-time low IMHO. Fortunately things picked up in '97 with Ami developers/publishers finally seeing the light and jumping on the CD games bandwagon.

@KG
Absolutely. Compared to 1996, Ami games released in '97 were far better quality. CD releases had at long last lost the shovelware mentality that had plagued the Amiga up until that point. I think all the hype surrounding the impending release of Amiga Myst had a lot to do with the change of mentality by Ami developers/publishers that year.
