prowler's uploads
I would like to upload Hot Sound & Vision 1 & 2 IBM PC CD-ROM ISOs for Interceptor and anyone else who would like them (this thread refers).
Is that okay? (Strictly speaking, they're for the PC, but they might be of general interest to forum members.) If not, I'll send him a couple of CD-R's instead. Edit: Sorry TCD, I didn't see that you'd already replied in the other thread. I'll get them ready! |

Hi TCD,
I am uploading a test file to my user folder on the EAB File Server in preparation for uploading the Hot Sound & Vision ISOs. The file is a RAR'd .PDF of AmigActive Magazine Issue 12 (~19MB). When it has completed, please could you move it to the Magazine Cover Disks and CDs/CDs/AACD/Magazine Scans folder, where it can join the six others I uploaded a long time ago? Thanks, mate! If this upload works correctly, I shall be uploading the Hot Sound & Vision CDs tomorrow. Right at this minute, it's 70% completed... Edit: It's done! |

It's great to see it working for me at last, and my upload speed's not bad at all!
It's just as well, because, as you know, my next uploads will be much bigger. I'll start the ball rolling tomorrow! @Josh, Your long-awaited Aminet CD 1 will be first up after the Hot Sound & Vision uploads. |

Okay, I've uploaded the Hot Sound & Vision and Hot Sound and Vision 2 ISOs to my user folder on the server.
I'll leave it up to you, TCD, where you move them, as they're really Demo discs for the PC. For completeness, I will scan the inserts tomorrow and upload them as well. |

As promised, I've now uploaded the scanned Hot Sound & Vision CD inserts to go with the ISOs in the Other/HotSound&Vision folder.
They contain installation instructions for the programs on the CDs. Next up will be Aminet CD 1 requested by Josh... |

Now that I've finally got started on this, I'm going to be uploading loads of stuff. It would help with prioritising if members could post requests for the software they would like to see made available for download. If I have them, the requested items will be uploaded first.

Guess that's not a bad idea. Could you prepare a list of the stuff you could upload, so people could request what should be uploaded first prowler? I thought about a 'request' thread for the file server, but that would be rather messy in the long term and since you're now officially the 'keeper of almost lost Amiga goodness' I grand thee the right to post that list here (sorry, but I haven't mentioned that I appreciate that preservation you are doing atm before ).

I have uploaded the Aminet 1 CD to my user folder.
I'm sorry it's taken so long, Josh. First, I have been waiting for my internet connection to become good enough, and then to have the whole set before uploading them. Here is the list of Amiga software CD titles I have available for upload at this time. Unless there are requests for anything specific from the list, or I find that such software has already been uploaded, I shall continue uploading the Aminet CDs in chronological order. Note that the early Aminet CDs are quite different from the Aminet Sets 1-9. However, The last Aminet Sets 10 and 11 are equivalent to the Aminet CDs 36-39 and 40-43, respectively. (The Aminet Games CD, which appeared in September 2000, is the reason that the CDs are not, as you would expect, 37-40 and 41-44.) Aminet CDs 1-52 plus Aminet Games CD BCI NET CD, Dec 1994 (Similar format to Aminet CDs) EuroCDs 2 (April 1997) & 3 (May 1998) (Similar format to Aminet CDs) Euroscene CDs 1 & 2 (Almathera) Meeting Pearls CDs 1-3 (Schatztruhe) Amiga Workbench Add-On CD, Volume 1 (Schatztruhe) Amiga System Booster CD (Schatztruhe) Amiga Developer CD v1.1, May 1996 (Schatztruhe) ProDAD p.OS PreRelease CD (Schatztruhe) AGA Experience Volumes 1 & 2 CDs (SAdENESS/NFA) Utilities Professional Amiga CD (PD Soft disks 1-1500) Amiga Utilities Vol.2 Double CD (2000+ PD Soft utils, Oct 91-Jan 96) Amiga PhotoCD Manager CD (Asimware) Comms & Networking CD (Almathera) CDPD CDs I-IV (Almathera) Demo CD 1 (Almathera) World Vista CD (Almathera) Illustrated Works of Shakespeare CD (Almathera) Pandora's CD (Almathera) Team Yankee CD (Almathera) Photo Library CD (Almathera) Clipart & Fonts CD (Almathera) Fractal Universe CD (Almathera) CDTV Demo Collection CD (Almathera) Phase 1 - Fonts, Clipart and Images CD (E.M.Computergraphic) Phase 4 - Desktop Video Dreams CD (E.M.Computergraphic) Index CD (E.M.Computergraphic) Weird Science Multimedia Toolkit CD AGA Toolkit'97 CD (Weird Science) Welcome to CDTV Multimedia CD (Commodore) Amiga CD! Someone doesn't like my uploads. My user folder had gone when I went to upload Aminet 1.
Nevertheless, I'm uploading Aminet 2 now... |
