AmiGame is coming

Hello Everybody,

Just a small thread to tell you that AmiGame final will be released on december, the 1st! (in french, english and italian). German should be supported soon.)
AmiGame is a new frontend for WinUAE

---
AmiGame final video trailer is available on my WebSite (french only for the moment, sorry):
http://amifrance.hw.tc/

(direct link)
http://tarzin.free.fr/trailer.html

You'll have to install a plugin (without spyware).
For those who don't want to install a plugin, a video file is available on YouTube (lower quality)
---

You can have more informations on AmiGame's Forum (English Section)
http://157851.aceboard.net/
Don't hesitate to ask questions!

or there:
http://passion-amiga.goldzoneweb.info/Amigame.html

We're very far from Mage/Lemonade/etc... but we hope you'll enjoy our work.

English is not our native langage but we're working to provid a full english product (we'll start to work on an english version of our web site, all help will be appreciated!)

Thanks a lot!

Hi, could be cool

But I suggest you also add a YouTube link or normal downloadable Quicktime/Avi for the video. Asking visitors to install unknown plugins is a good way to make people shrug and go elsewhere...

Yea the eye candy is very nice, Hopefully its as practical as it is good looking.

@Photon - There is a YouTube link mate. On that page that asks to install a plugin, on the left under where it says YouTube.

Both of them are available through my website:
- one video which need a plugin (for best quality)
- a direct link to YouTube

I know that using a plugin is not the best solution but it's the only one I found to have this encoding quality (the show is only for 3.5Mo!!)

Yes, using AmiGame is really simple (we hope )

Hope that we'll have a feedback from english users, thanks!

Hi there!

...Just dropping by to inform that the English help of AmiGame is now fully online, through the website only, English help included in the installer is not ready at the moment but I guess you have an internet access

We're currently working on features like crc32 game scan & WHD support...

Feedbacks & advanced critics are welcome!

Are you sure you want to allow direct downloads on amigame.fr ? Hope you have a fast server 'cause some folks won't hesitate to download multiple packs at once.
Needless to say, file hosting site are a convenient alternative.

This was a looooong awaited update of that snazzy French frontend, I should say I wasn't expecting it anymore.

I know I should ask on the dedicated forum, but :
  • Does AmiGame v2 (.2) support txt/html exporting of favorite lists ?
  • Is it possible to resize the frontend (it's a bit small in 1600x1200) ?
  • How may I access the AVI version of the videos ? Previous posts evocke a plugin

Excellente, l'intro du frontend, véritable morceau de bravoure, avec les noms des contributeurs "Ness" "Aligarion" répétés 2x
ça va les chevilles, lol ?

No, what do you want to do exactly with this feature?

No, not possible. That's the drawback of the front-end. It's a static interface

Which AVI video? On the Website or on YouTube?
You just need a plugin if you follow this link http://tarzin.free.fr/trailer.html which was for the first trailer (AmiGame V1)
