Corrupt Zone files with Download Manager
I haven't experienced this till just recently. The problem is all zips downloaded using "GetRight" are being corrupted and it appears to be confined exclusively to the Zone. However, Internet Explorer does not suffer from this problem.
RCK, might this have something to do with the anti-leech protection that you put in place with the introduction of the download center or have you altered any MIME types. It's almost as if they're being transferred in ASCII mode, yet the zip sometimes differs each time it is retrieved from the server. |

[public download page] Anti-leech + bandwidth control.
[the zone]bandwidth control only. I have found one little bug into my bandwidth management, the problem should be fixed. [note] Download manager like 'getright' should work correctly with the zone but not with the public download area. tell me if you still experiment some prb. or use one decent download manager like www.flashget.com |

Same problem here with Getright...
Files between "DiskExpander v2.1 (1993)(J. Mechacek)[cr SKR].zip" and "Archipelagos.zip" corrupted (Unexpected end of archive)... Now they are working again. |

Rck HELP!
I've got an important file from Daz in the zone and I can't download it! This is using IE 5.5*, no download managers here. It keeps on cutting out before reaching the end on my 56K connection! Sometimes I download 200K, sometimes 600K but I can't get to 1.2MB. Never had a problem before with the zone. HHHEEEEEEEELLLLLPPPPPPPPP! Please. PS - could it be the bandwidth control??? The same thing happens to me on Yahoo groups. *edited from 5.0 to 5.5 Last edited by Bloodwych; 14 August 2002 at 21:23. |

IE 5.5 with no download manager here. I've had the same thing happen to me now too. Fortunately, a second download attempt was successful.
