Does anybody have a DOS disk for PC Task/Transformer plz

I was interested to see just how bad these software emulators are on a bog standard 1985 Amiga (especially Transformer as it was an official 'solution') but every link I have ever seen posted for a disk image is dead.

I want to try it out on WinUAE first for video capture of screen.

Please no complex instructions on how to make one, I want the bundled DOS disk from PC Task or whatever runs on Transformer not to trawl the net for other possibly incompatible disks. I already work two jobs so free time is a myth....like my hair

I probably can't post the link due to rules, but version 1.21 is out there on a German compilation disk with A-Max, A64, and a BBC emulator. You need a 3.5" DOS disk to boot it; likely DOS 3.3.

Thanks for the reply, I have the emulators but I need a DOS disk compatible with WinUAE to try with PC Task (author has released this as free to use except for commercial use/gain) and Transformer, both of which I have.

you can use any booteable DOS disk image in .ima format
I recommend to get in the web original DOS disks , the 1st one is the booteable
also you must select for df0 a high density floppy ( 3.5HD)

the files are packed with gzip or zip, you can extract them using winrar, for example.

those *.360.gz will extract to 360 kb floppy image
*.720.gz extract to 720kb disk image.
there are also some 1440.gz which will result in 1440kb file, hd-floppy image.

at least the 720 and 1440kb diskimage you can use in winuae.
as Mrz said, for the 1440k files you have to setup df0 to 3.5 HD, for example.

that said, I cannot say if the images will work at all, but they should.

Thanks to you both. I only tried the MS Dos 3.3 link and those disk images were different, some were gz files too.

Will have a trundle through the site again a bit later to find a suitable format.

Sadly my Amiga 4000 is no longer booting after sitting for a few months so will be spending what little free time I have trying to get that to work now probably.
