New MED: ADRDesign - Teardrop Remixed
Sorry if my english is bad!
This is my first "almost professional" module, according to urban shakedown & mulder from urban takeover standards. Note the long size due to acapellas (2MB chip required). There are some tricks featured in this module: Simulated multiband compression (command Dxx) 9xx Tempo changes (triplets, double tempo, half tempo, delays) Smart panning use (left channel for basses & drums, right channel for accapellas, musical loops & effects) allows postprocessing like reverb, delays and so without messing the mix. Extra instruments. I ran out of instrument slots, so there are more than 1 sample per Instrument slot and used 19xx command to set the sample offset start. Some of those samples are placed after the loop, so you haven't to set the volume off everytime. Anticlick samples. The sample start/end is zero always, and there is a muted instrument to cut out the samples without the annoying click. and some more i forgot. (please tell me how sounds in a real miggy) This med was done to put to the limits the software using today's techniques and processors, no copyright infringement is intended, always fair use. So, if you want to listen the actual med as supposed to be (with some processing), watch this video. [ Show youtube player ] Thanks to all the people in EAB, I rediscovered making amiga music !! Note: I don't know if this is the place to post this. I haven't seen a "new modules" or whatsoever subforum, so excuse me if i'm wrong. EDIT 1 (12 07 2013) - Converted to protracker 3.61 for proper use with PT1210. Please report errors! Last edited by adrdesign; 07 December 2013 at 19:36. Reason: update |

What a shame you are making these in OctaMED, I can't use them in my DJ tool therefore can't go on my mixes
Is there any reason for this? You're using just the 4 channels. Why not Protracker MODs? |

Oh, what a pity!! In Rockafeller Skank some samples are >64k long, and it was intended to be an exact copy of the original depicted in the video by mulder.
This module is octamed because the instrument slot: protracker only has 31, and there are more than 64 in this med, only octamed can afford this. I'll try to convert it, but it can take a while... Thanks for the feedback, next mods will be strictly protracker, I swear. BTW I have seen your PT-1210 MK1 video and it looks so good enough. When will it be released? I can't wait to test it! |

Y todavía no viste la versión final , espera un poco más, paciencia
Intended release date for PT1210 is at Revision 2014. There will be a demo of the tool at Datastorm 2014 too. |

I have converted to .MOD in soundstudio joining the samples in 31 instruments smaller than 65534 bytes and retracking using 9xx, but when i'm playing in protracker 2.3d it freezes randomly.
There are some a#3 notes in the sequence, but i don't think it is a problem (apart from sound glitches). anyone knows why? is there any known format bug, something to fix or care about? thanks in advance! |

It has to do with sample repeat lengths and the rendering of the audio scope. We landed onto this problem with the DJ Tool h0ffman is making. The tool had to be fixed to accept these faulty files. Try it in Protracker 3.61, it will probably work. This happens too if you make a MOD with Fast Tracker, Milky Tracker and many others. but yeah if you open it in PT2.3d, check all sample lengths and loops and fix them. |

I don't know how I've fixed, but seems it works. It's been a hard word to shrink all the instruments to 31. I hope you like it!
Going for another MOD! |
