I did it on my side and what you describe is true for the initial crack, the vehicles are invulnerable, but the crack with patch works well on my side even if I'm too lame to go to the end of level 2.
Why not on your side? How do you test the game? Do you activate cheats?

Total Recall (1990)(Ocean)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr Angels - Defjam][f crack Angels - Defjam]
CRC32 4D4CFFE5
The copylock doesn't work correctly if the key is not sent at the same places the original do. A/D fix is in fact a different crack from the original one.

Before flashtro made their own crack, total recall cracks were bad. This is why a new crack has been made.

I think you'll understand that my question is about playability, not technical issues.
If a game works well with a flawed crack, from a user's point of view, it's well cracked.
I've added your crack though, the A/D fix won't be tagged [b crack]

Thanks, I'll take care of it as I go along, because for each game I update all the disks (TOSEC and not yet TOSEC):
Mnemotron (1994)(TimSoft)[cr WT] -> Mnemotron (1994)(TimSoft)(PL)[cr WT]
Done

Zombie (1994)(L.K. Avalon) -> Zombie (1994)(L.K. Avalon)(PL)[cr MST]
Done

Puzzle v3.0 (1994)(MAGE)[AMOS] -> Puzzle v3.0 (1994)(MAGE)(PL)(PD)[AMOS]
On non-commercial productions, the country is not mentioned, but the language is. In this case, it's in English. Also, the game is not Public Domain but Giftware (GW)

P-GWIN v1.0 (1996-04-20)(Ladybird Design)(SW)[h Analog - Sagrael] -> P-GWIN v1.0 (1996-04-20)(Ladybird Design)(PL)(SW)[h Analog - Sagrael]
Done! (pl) flag added

Inferior (1995)(Ego)[cr ZNT] -> Inferior (1995)(Ego)(PL)[cr ZNT]
Ok but need to add (en)

Lowca Glow (1996)(L.K. Avalon)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr WT] -> Lowca Glow (1996)(L.K. Avalon)(PL)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr WT]
Lowca Glow (1996)(L.K. Avalon)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr WT] -> Lowca Glow (1996)(L.K. Avalon)(PL)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr WT]
Done! I've added a version that fixes a minor problem on hard disk

Alfabet Smierci (1996)(Arte)(AGA)(PL)(Disk 1 of 4) -> Alfabet Smierci (1996)(Arte)(AGA)(PL)(Disk 1 of 4)[cr WT]
When a game has no protection, you can't say it's been cracked...

Bolo Mrowkojad (1997)(Eureka)(PL) -> Bolo Mrowkojad (1997)(Eureka)(PL)[cr RYL]
It's the same thing, no protection, no hacktro ... no flag
But it seems that the game requires 1.5Mb RAM

Dan Wilder (1994)(Mirage Media)(PL)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr][f crack] -> Dan Wilder (1994)(Mirage Media)(PL)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr NGT][f crack]
To avoid confusion between Nightfall (NGT) and Nightcrawlers (NGT), it's best to use the full name [cr Nightcrawlers]
I haven't identified the author of the fix ... too bad.

Hydacorn (1995)(InterComp)(PL) -> Hydacorn (1995)(InterComp)(PL)[cr RYL]
Cracked? I don't know, I'm not sure

Kolo Szczescia (1993)(Fantasia)(PL)[cr] -> Kolo Szczescia (1993)(Fantasia)(PL)[cr MST]
I can't find anything to attribute the crack to MST...and you?

Magiczna Kostka (1993)(EXE)(PL)[cr] -> Magiczna Kostka (1993)(EXE)(PL)[cr WT]
Done!

Mentor v1.0 (1994)(MarkSoft)(PL)(Disk 1 of 5)[cr] -> Mentor v1.0 (1994)(MarkSoft)(PL)(Disk 1 of 5)[cr Invaders]
No reliable information on the subject, so no. I added the cracks from Stingray and UrBi

Miecze Valdgira II (1995)(TimSoft)(PL)[a2] -> Miecze Valdgira II (1995)(TimSoft)(PL)[cr COR]
I don't know, decompressing a few images leaves me wondering about the result in the game.

Wieza Hanoi (demo-playable) (1994)(Twin Spark Soft)(PL) - it's full version
Done!

If the original game is identical to RYL's version, no, it's a can of worms I don't want to open.

there's a topic on the subject, only a certain number of groups have an abbreviated name.
For some, there's a risk of confusion and for others, it won't mean anything to anyone. Personally, I prefer Flashtro to FTR, for example.
For others, on the contrary, the abbreviation is used to avoid making the name too long.

It's an open question, but you don't want to upset the balance in database readability (between file name length and identification of the protagonists without using a conversion table)

I couldn't find an NFO file, but I do have the DIZ file embedded in the DMS files (you can extract it with ADF-Workshop) :

Oh, I'm ready to go on

Amilopedia v1.0 (1998)(Twin Spark Soft)(Disk 1 of 4)(PL)[Wanted Team] -> Amilopedia v1.0 (1998)(Twin Spark Soft)(Disk 1 of 4)(PL)[cr WT]
also "Amilopedia 1.06 update" could be added wt-a106u.dms
=> No crack again...so just [h WT]. update disk added!

Gramatyka (1998)(-)(PL)[cr WT] -> Gramatyka (1998)(Exe)(PL)[cr WT]
=> Done!

Malowanki (1996)(Game Show)[AMOS] -> Malowanki (1996)(Game Show)[h WT][AMOS]
=> Done!

Labyrinth (1995-11-29)(Scalaris)[a] -> Labyrinth New Version (1995-11-29)(Scalaris)
=> Demos - Music is not my area of work!

Liga Polska Manager '96 (1995)(MarkSoft)(PL)[cr WT] -> Liga Polska Manager '96 (1995)(MarkSoft)(PL)[cr WT][a debugged version]
Liga Polska Manager '96 (1995)(MarkSoft)(PL)[cr WT][a] -> Liga Polska Manager '96 (1995)(MarkSoft)(PL)[cr WT]
=> Done! I also added the Intensity crack

Speedway Manager (1993)(Exe)(PL)[cr WT] -> Speedway Manager (1993)(Promic Group)(PL)[cr WT]
=> I don't agree with that. Promic Group is considered the developer and EXE the publisher.
TOSEC always indicates the publisher for commercial productions!

Advanced English Database Part I (1996)(Twin Spark Soft)[cr WT][req. Supermemo 3.0][HD]
-> Advanced English Database Part I-IV (1996)(Twin Spark Soft)[h WT][req. Supermemo 3.0][HD, CD rip][/QUOTE]
=> I have completely renamed this application but I don't agree with your proposal to change Part I, Part II, etc. to Part I-IV. Each disk has its own installation program, which would be confusing.

On the other hand, this is just terrible and you didn't tell me about it
Supremo v3.00a (1996)(Twin Spark Software)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr WT]
Supremo v3.00a (1996)(Twin Spark Software)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr WT]

I also added this:

Mentor v1.0 (1994)(MarkSoft)(PL)(Disk 1 of 5)[cr] -> Mentor v1.0 (1994)(MarkSoft)(PL)(Disk 1 of 5)[cr Invaders]

In my upload folder you'll find dumps from oryginal disks so files could be compared Both games have "doc check".

This one i mentioned erlier:

Wladyslaw I (1997)(Rajewicz, Michal)(pl)(SW)(Disk 1 of 2)[AMOS] -> should be moved to GAMES and it's just a Demo
Wladyslaw I (1997)(Rajewicz, Michal)(pl)(SW)(Disk 2 of 2)-> should be moved to GAMES and it's just a Demo

* I was able to contact author and he told me that Demo contains something like ~75% of final game. Unfortunatelly he don't have his copy of full version anymore. He told me also that he sold just few copies of this game so no chance to find it

Advanced English Database Part I (1996)(Twin Spark Soft)[cr WT][req. Supermemo 3.0][HD]
-> Advanced English Database Part I-IV (1996)(Twin Spark Soft)[h WT][req. Supermemo 3.0][HD, CD rip]
WiP
Other WT releases also were ripped from SuperMemo 3.0 CD (in my upload folder you'll find full ISO):
SUPERMEMO 3.0 'BASIC FRENCH' DATABASE
SUPERMEMO 3.0 'BASIC GERMAN' DATABASE
SUPERMEMO 3.0 'BASIC POLISH' DATABASE
SUPERMEMO 3.0 'BASIC RUSSIAN' DATABASE
SUPERMEMO 3.0 'BASIC SPANISH' DATABASE
SUPERMEMO 3.0 'GALLERY AGA' DATABASE

Supremo v3.00a (1996)(Twin Spark Software)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr WT]

This one is tricky. I don't know if WT released disks version or if it's CD Rip.
Both versions exists. Take a look on this advert:

Only commercial games go into "Games". Shareware, Licenceware, freeware, giftware, etc go into the large "Games - Public Domain" oven. PD isn't really appropriate for all these games, but the database had this name long before I came to TOSEC.

By default, (SW) indicates that the disk is in its free version, as opposed to (SW-R), which is the full version available from the author, and which has to be paid for.

everything is now in TOSEC as indicated above

It's a legitimate question, but at the moment, there's no doubt that WT had the CD:
Code:
Title Publisher Developer Type Original Version Available/Recommended Version(s) Extra information(s)
SuperMemo 3.0 (CD) Twin Spark Soft SuperMemo World educational + (1CD) 1995 WT (CD rips)
We would need originals to compare with the WT version. By the way, how many disks are there initially in this version?
