EAB Games League Season 1 Round 7 - Super Hang-On
Who's going to race to victory in...
Super Hang-On The rules for this competition are in this thread. Here's a quick run-down though: - The round starts at 12:00am UK time on Monday, September 24, and finishes at 11:59pm UK time on Saturday, October 13. - Scores can only be posted during the time of the round, any scores posted outside of this period won't count. - You can play on a real Amiga or an emulator, WHDLoad or not, whatever you prefer. - If you can, take screenshots or use a digital camera/mobile phone to provide proof of your score, however if you are unable to do this then you can upload your high-score file as confirmation. You should also write your score in your post. - Anyone can enter at any time, and you can post as many scores as you want during the round. Of course, only your highest score will count towards the final standings. - Between September 29 - October 5 the voting will take place for the eighth round's game, a thread containing details will be created nearer the time. - At the end of the round, the player with the highest score gets 12 points, 2nd place gets 10, 3rd 8, 4th 7, 5th 6, 6th 5, 7th 4, 8th 3, 9th 2 and 10th 1 (assuming that many people take part). - No cheating! No using save states, cheat codes, trainers or anything like that, and no modifying scores in any way. This competition is just a bit of fun and hopefully no-one will sink that low. However, if you genuinely suspect someone has cheated in any way, please PM me and I'll look into it. If I find someone guilty of cheating, they will be banned from the league for the entire season. READ THIS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU START - The Beginner course (6 stages) must be selected. I think that's it. If you have any questions, you can either post them in this thread, the General Discussion thread or the Rules thread. Thanks and have fun! Final Scores: 1. CHook/OTT - 31,042,627 2. Biscuit - 28,442,617 3. VermillioN - 27,842,518 4. Wepl - 25,942,827 5. cane - 25,142,792 6. Magno Boots - 22,043,113 7. Psygore - 19,043,024 8. pbareges - 15,242,816 9. farmarfred - 12,142,832 10. Graham Humphrey - 9,043,287 11. turrican3 - 449,409 12. mailman - 436,596 Last edited by Graham Humphrey; 14 October 2007 at 01:01. |

Er, I don't quite know how to break this one to you Biccy, but...
I can't remember why I put that rule in, it's a bit daft actually when I think about it now, but rules are rules |

Well, let's call this one an appetizer then.
If nothing else it reflects the small size of the score. |

Have you got the latest version of the slave, because it kept going wrong for me when I used the older version.

Boooooooooo!!! To everyone who voted for this.
I hate this game (although not a bad conversion) i love the way you stop dead when being hit from behind by another rider you have no way on earth of avoiding and almost coming to a complete halt when you scrape the grass I can now see where Psygnosis got some of the ideas for the original WipEout |

Super Scramble Simulator that's a great game with bikes in (although difficult) i won a copy of that for my Speccy too years ago in Crash magazines "guess the SSS's" competition.
Isn't there a decimal point missing somewhere in the KM display on Super Hang-On I'm sorry but cornering at 100km in that game you should realistically fall off. |

Well I beat that score, but I have to agree with the hecklers. Average game with flaws.
Although looking at this reception, my driving was so good poor people have lined up for me to bless their children. Smoke me a kipper... 1,743,198 |

Okay, so it's not the world's best game, but I don't think it's bad. And it's ideal for a competition like this.
Nice score Biscuit, perhaps those people have realised it's your birthday? Have a good one |
