Im sure I had the 1 disk version of Batman The Movie. Quite impressive how they squeezed the 4 levels + bonus on to 1 disk.

There's only one correct answer. Turrican 2.

Didn’t the original turrican 2 have an intro? I seem to remember seeing images of it. I have a 2 disc cracked version with no intro. Seems strange if there’s a 1 disc version with an intro as well.

I thought the same thing... but was corrected many years ago.

You just need to wait for a while i.e; after displaying all game information / Hall of Fame twice, the intro will then play

Intro exists on the one-disk version too.

It should have, but my 2 disc cracked+trained version crashed at that point. Maybe to get the trainer on there the intro had to go

And that is why I became so angry at the NMS hype. It was as if a free roaming universe and "procedural generation" was a new thing in gaming.

They gave ZERO nod to Elite or it's sequels and acted as if they invented the entire concept.

They got smacked with the Karma stick imho

One technical correction though...... Elite contained a "Galaxy"

I guess you could argue that NMS contains a "universe" as it is not limited to a single galaxy...although it kind of is. It just restarts from a new set of seeds. It's not like you can hop back and forward between galaxies.

When people see things for the first time, it's easy to make them believe it's new... That's part of the reason background (knowledge) is important.

Nope, the cracked / trained set that I'm using has the intro:

... Turrican II - The Final Fight (1991)(Rainbow Arts)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr Defjam][t +6 LGD].adf
... Turrican II - The Final Fight (1991)(Rainbow Arts)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr Defjam].adf

The original of Turrican 2 was on one disk. It had to be put onto 2 disks for the cracks because the Amiga could not duplicate the disk format.

Ah, I guess I've just been too impatient in the past to play the game. I'll have to have another look to see if my copy has the intro.
