Celtic Heart released

Celtic Heart is a medieval platformer by Night Owl Design, where you are a celtic knight who can kill his enemies by a magical strike. The strike is not a shot and only effective in his near vicinity. So you need some good timing to hit.

Note, that this was just a small internal, intermediate test project. It lacks intelligent gameplay and is not as polished as Trap Runner, for example!

nice! thx! this time these floating platforms are visible and easier to find! that's very positive!
not like in trap runner where you have to jump into the air, hoping to hit an invisible platform.

So, that means that it's not beta version and there is no plans to release next version (unless there will be bug fix)?

EDIT: Just tested it. Awesome as expected. It has a finished quality better than many full-price games of back then. Many, many thanks for giving it to us. If constructive criticism is allowed, I only have one small gripe: the punch takes too long to deliver. I mean when you press the fire button, only about a second later does the character deliver the said punch. I find myself being killed by marauders that I'm not fast enough to dispatch. I know: I'm a bad player... But if the punch delivery was just a tad bit faster, it would be much better.

That was intended, because otherwise the game would be much too easy. When the punch would be delivered immediately you could just run through the level while hammering on the button. Now you need some timing.
