Never heard of any of these games. Can they be downloaded anywhere?

Have you heard of Turtleminator? A very good game in Cannon Fodder style, which is also made by Alastair Murray. I think this is his best game.

Hanger 18 and Traitor are also quite good of course.

I have now Countdown to extinction running. I have difficulties with Kill em all, though. It runs on my real Amiga 1200 with blizzard, but it refuses to run under emulation (A1200 with 8MB fast) - it always gives me Out of Memory error during the start. Nevermind - did anyone manage to run XII? It immediatelly quits back to WB with "missing file" error after launch.

Yeah; even with most things in "SnoopDos" ticked for monitoring I get the following:

...no fails but the game doesn't load. Will try again tomorrow when I'm not so tired.

No wonder at all that you could not get this game running. There is some hard-coded strings in the main file.

I got it running now. Not a game I would like to play.... guess it's more fun to play with friends.

That's right.

The files needs to be on dh1:

Just extract the files into this directory: DH1:AMOS_Stuff/XII/ and it should start.

Okay, I now think we already have all Alastair Murray games covered on Lemonamiga:

http://www.lemonamiga.com/games/list...stair%20Murray

They are:
Chaos
XII
Kill em all
Countdown to extinction
Traitor
Hanger 18
Blobby
Banana Islands
The Turtleminator

Beside those, he had also created four tutorial games for Backbone, but I will not include those. Thanks to all you involved who helped me to find and / or run the games or contributed with screenshots.

Well; no point in complaining... Do something about it then

Install the games, take screenshots and then finally upload for the HOL team to add...

Alastair Murray commented on my Turtleminator video on Youtube. He confirmed a bug making a level not possible to complete. He did a patch and now it can be played all to the end!

He uploaded the patch here. Guess it will also be on Aminet later.

The Turtleminator is definitely among the best Amiga PD games.

He also said he currently experimenting with doing a new version for PC.

Nice work hipoonios

That's very cool of Alastair to comment on your video and then released a patch

This game feels like an even more arcade version of Cannon Fodder on crack. Looks incredibly fun.
