@Jens, apart from raising a PayPal dispute is their any way of contacting you about a missing item?

Nice! If it works then I'll buy one!! Maybe you can ask Amigakit for help with this because I noticed they had usb-cd drives in their shop with a floppy disk so it would work on an Amiga (with subway usb).

The eMail address mentioned on the site would be the first thing (shop@...), then you have my personal eMail address from the PayPal transaction, and you might have gotten an eMail from me from jens@icomp - plenty of addresses.

Missing item is very unlikely. There were two people who haven't been successful tracking their shipments, and I found out that my scanner has swallowed a digit of the tracking number. I might need to set that to a slower typing speed.

Please send me an eMail, so we can check what's going on. So far, not a single item has been lost in the mail in all these years, and if that should ever happen, there's two insurances on the parcel: One from the registered mail insurance, and another that covers whatever the postal insurance doesn't cover.

Try AmiCDFS, I had similar issues with CacheCDFS on my Deneb and changing to AmiCDFS solved them

+1 for 1337

Just tried with a Dell USB floppy drive and it works as well. It is detected as a mass storage device so you can use PC formatted 1.44MB floppies.

Just received mine, installed onto X-Surf, installed Poseidon and everything I plugged in just works. Even an Apple branded USB Network Adapter. Super awesome! Thank You Jens for keeping the dream alive.

Just tried an LG GP50NB40 USB dvd writer and it works perfectly. It's mind boggling how useful this interface is. Now I am gonna have to buy one for the A1200 as well

^^^ I agree just waiting for some funds and I'll be back for A1200 and A600

Just hope the production run is enough to supply everyone for a while to come.

I'm thinking of buying another one for my A600 since this one has aca620, a604 and indy ecs in it. One thing that's holding me back though is that I don't want to cut the case. What would be the best place btw?

You could look out for a spare case to buy, even another A600 maybe nonworking or unit only deal on amibay/ ebay sometimes go cheap

I've made quite a few units, hoping that they'll sell one day. Otherwise I would not be able to make this kind of price.

Since the A600 is really tiny, you will need to think of what port to sacrifice for USB. Since serial is very rarely used (and not useful without Fitos anyway), I'd vote for that (or "against", respectively): Remove the DB25 from the mainboard of the A600 and install the "double" USB port there. It's about the same width as a DB25. You'll also need to move the big electrolytic cap to a different place, but that's going to be easy while you have the soldering iron on anyway.

Should you have a need for serial at some point, you can always use a USB->serial adapter. Just avoid FTDI, they're the only ones not supported. Others like Prolific or SiLabs work great and you can take advantage of the Fifos in those chips.
