True of course, but it seems to me some ppl are selling their Blizz 1260s ahead of time, so that there wont be 200 of them for sale once the V1200 does come out ;-) Right now, they still hold a decent value.
Anyhoo, the time scale is a bit longer than that isn't it, the initial target was to have prototype of the Amiga Reloaded ready in Q1 2016 then move forward from there, which to me sounds we'd seen the reloaded mobo after the summer even if things were on schedule. After the summer, is the time-frame I'm expecting more V1200 news our way ;-) |

I have a feeling that the Amiga market can soak up an unlimited amount of accelerators. There are no leftover stocks. All previous A1200 ACAs have been sold. No more ACA 620 since... recently I guess. I checked AmigaKit's page yesterday and they are no more. There are only 1221s available (and they are the latest models) and limited edition 1233s (on Individual homepage).
With new mobos there will be more hungry mouths (expansion ports) to feed So there is no rivalry between accelerators. We will buy everything |

I'm hoping to get one of these new boards if and when they become available, I would like to also try and get a Vampire1200 if they also become available and work ok with it.
I'm still keeping my blizzard 1230 mkiv and blizzard 1260 as want my two 1200's to be kind of original even if they will be slower. |

Add me to the list for both. I'm keeping an eye on the boards and can wait as long as it takes

Hello
Are there some news about "Amiga Reloaded" project? Or project died? Sorry for question, but it's worrying that there are no news about this project. Last edited by Solo Kazuki; 16 August 2016 at 18:01. |

AFAIK, nothing new.
It would be very easy for Jens to come here and give us an update, but I have seen none. http://wiki.icomp.de/wiki/Amiga_reloaded Has not been updated in a year either. There are ppl in the german forums that might know more though. Not sure if this whole Vampire situation made him rethink some business decisions... Last edited by prowler; 18 August 2016 at 22:21. No news that I'd want to publish, and some news that I am not even allowed to publish yet. Please be patient - working on a news item that will also affect this project in a positive way.

Why do you want to use a vampire 1200 with a new reloaded motherboard anyway? The vampire will just downgrade the rest of the poor amiga to a keyboard/mice/joystick input device. The chips on the motherboard will be "unused" as they will be moved in to the fpga core of the vampire. Better to wait for the standalone version with its own keyboard and joystick ports.

But if you must know, I want to keep my current A1200 +060 unchanged. Meanwhile Im waiting for my new A1200 €200 special edition case + V1200, so basically, Im one mobo short. And since the case (+keys) and the Vamp are brand new it seems fitting to use a brand new mobo and not some 23+ years old thing I get off ebay. Last edited by prowler; 18 August 2016 at 22:23. Ok, who again has been the one who said say the "V"-word and thus brought this discussion into another nonsense-spiral?
