"To update" dumped games ?

If i well understand, the game list on SPS site is not complete
I mean, there are games ALREADY dumped but not included in the list
If this is true, how can i obtain the titles of OUT OF LIST dumped games ?

If you have games you think that might be interesting for SPS post them here and someone will tell you if they are still needed

So you want a list of games that are dumped but not in the list on the SPS site? I think there are none. Or do you ask for a list of games that are already send to SPS, but haven't dumped yet?
Do you have an example of a game that is dumped, but not on the SPS site?

game already dumped and not released fall into the following catergories:

1) dumped but modifed, bad or needs more copies before we can confirm = needs dumping
2) dump is fine but not yet supported by SPS = may not need dumping
3) dump is fine and will be part of the next batch = should not need dumping

nothing is kept back for the sake of it.

if you have a list of games you are considering dumping, maybe it would be better for you to use the contact page and submit that list instead and see which ones SPS requests?

@Interceptor

Thanks for info, interesting things here

However my question it was intended to DO NOT disturb
each time for a confirmation of a USEFUL OR NOT dumping

A simple txt file in SPS site with the second and third categories
(fine dumps) it could be helpful

Thanks again

Actually, that thread does exist here somewhere... listing games that we have dumps of but are not supported atm.
The game list is totally up to date though apart from a few recent additions, but we are just talking about literally a few games, and once something really wanted is found it gets removed immediately from the "wanted" section of the site.

Can you point out more exactly what means "not supported atm"?

After lots of (amazing) work from SPS side, ST dual format is now able to get reproduced in digital form as IPFs. That's a fact.
So is the only thing that inhibits the usage of the games that the SPS DLL is due to be updated?

Storing ST disks in IPF format has been possible from day one.

Supported means to have support in our analyser for that Particular disk/game, and thus create the actual IPF file itself.

"atm" is indeed a fairly obsolete term now

Erm, I was talking about ST/Amiga dual format disks.
If these have been possible to IPF from day one, I would be pretty surprised.
(Or you kept them behind your backs for too long! )

Huh? What is the difference between "storing a disk to IPF" and "creating an IPF file"? Sounds quite the same, actually ...

its always been possible to store ST and all generic MFM disks in IPF format, but the scripts in the analyser are being worked on now.

creating an IPF is not just 'getting it into a format you can use in an emulator' we also have to ensure its authentic, unmodified etc. i.e "preserved", and the analyser does all that, and if you read the extensive WIP on the website you will see it's all analyser based progress.

so no, we're not hiding stuff behind our backs.

i hope your pretty suprise brings you much happiness.

Thanks for the explanation (this time it was in sufficient detail, at least )

OK, consider it a mere teasing from my side (not meant to be offensive), as you have to consider that if you only write 2 sentences about the matter - as in your first post -, ambiguities are pre-programmed.
