A500 Rom Images and WHDLoad
I inatalled some games with WDLoad, (Flashback, Starblade)that require an A500 1.3 Bios Image.

I need the 34.5 revision of 1.3 Kickstart. Is the one I have (Kickstart v1.3 rev 34.5 (1987)(Commodore)(A500-A1000-A2000-CDTV)) suitable (It must be TUSEC I think)? |

There is a devs: already, you create the kickstarts directory there. And yes, it's the correct kickstart rom file, you just need to copy it to the kickstarts dir and rename it.

Well, I found the culprits. I had created the directories and renamed the rom, but I used Windows for it. (I tried to install the games in a windows directory, and set up WinUAE to see it as a Hard Drive. It works fine by the way ). When I renamed the roms Windows kept the rom extension, and it was something like kickxxxx.a500.rom. So winuae naturaly could not find the rom image. Renaming the rom image within the Amiga enviroment solved the problem. I still have problems with some games but I think they are WDLoad related. (So I will start another thread eventually).
Thanks from the help. It helped me rule out some possibilites. |
