PFS3 Question

After you have installed PFS3 to the very latest version you end up with a PFS2 and a PFS3 file in the L directory. Is it OK at this point to delete the PFS2 file or will it be needed later to verify an ID or something.

PFS2 is only needed if you install PFS3 as an upgrade. I don't think it is needed for later patches. If you already installed version 18.5, you don't need it anyway, because there won't be any further patches for the commercial version any more. Next thing to come up is a free release of PFS3 by the author, including source code.

Yes, you are correct. I did install PFS3 as an upgrade. That is what was required by the commercial CD version of PFS3 that I purchased. I do have 18.5 installed so I will go ahead and delete the PFS2 file from my L directory. Thanks Thomas!

Also check the Tools directory, there's probably a PFS2 dir in it which is much bigger than that single file in L.
