Using a Joystick with Win UAE

I recently bought a Competition Pro USB Joystick for use with Win UAE as I like to play sports games like Kick Off.
I can't seem to get my Joystick to work though because it doesn't give me the option uf using a Joystick in the Game Ports tab.

Please can somebody help as I am desperate to get playing old classics again!!

Thanks in advance.

Does the joystick appear in the Windows Game Controllers Control Panel?

It won't work with WinUAE if it doesn't appear there.

Yes, in the Game Controllers Control Panel it says,

' SPEED-LINK Competition Pro'

Can you post a screenshot of your input panel settings?

As you can probably tell I'm not too good with computers.
I think this is an image of what you requested.

Hi mate, welcome to EAB.

Please look at the attached image. That is where you should select your joystick (in Port 1). Is it not appearing in this list at all?

(Ignore the 'input' tab for now, that's for if you want more complicated setups. Just selecting it in this tab will do for a start!)

Your input setup looks fine. But as P-J said: Check if you chosen your Joystick for Port 1: under "Game & I/O".
