I too would like to know the details, like was more Indivision A4000/cd32`s made than A1200 versions
still think at £100 for 128meg is over priced, thats not to say I don`t understand why it will be at that price point or even if a price has been decided on. Wounld still like the info on how many of these cards you can use at once and max amount of mem you can have. Though if you haven`t yet got more than 1 card I can see how you may not be able to answer yet. also can I say 10 out of 10 for doing this |

@AlexH
The Indivision 1200 was on the market for nearly a year and half - that was a good shelf time for most products. FPGAs for the A1200 version of Indivision can only be purchased in specific batches (at large costs up front). Once these FPGAs were depleted, the product could not be produced any longer. There will be a new 1200 version which we hope to get in stock during the Summer. |

Did you plan any bundles like deneb+zoram(256) ?
Any ideas regarding a commercial automatic monitorswitch ? Jens received a sample and software is allready in good condition. I promised him my shematics and controlsoftware for free. BR Andre Last edited by Ratte; 25 March 2010 at 19:42. |

It detects the currently used screenmode (AGA or GFX-Card) by itself. Working with it is comparable to old GFX-cards like CV64. (have fun with babelfish ... ) http://de.babelfish.yahoo.com/transl...C3%9Cbersetzen |

First batch of 256MB versions are now available. We will start shipping pre-ordered ZorRAM units immediately.

You screwed up your link:
http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/...roducts_id=958 At £154 I'd be curious to know how many (if any) you sell. |

Compared to the crazy prices that second hand DKB 3128s often go for on Ebay (upto $600 a time) I think our brand new solution for double the memory (256MB) and warranty/support will be a much better proposition at a much lower price point.
As we have invested a lot of resources in this project, I hope it will be a success. We have already pre-sold many 256MB units and we are starting to ship these as a priority. The 128MB units will be shipped next week due to a last minute change in the firmware. |

We have also today tried 4x ZorRAM 256MB installed together with a 4060T accelerator (68060) with 128MB SIMM memory- here is the result:
http://www.amigakit.com/images/4xzorram-4060t.jpg Is this the most memory ever seen on a Classic Amiga ? |

Thats the point: ZorRAM has been announced for over one month now, so second-user DKB3128 prices should resell for a more realistic price in future. We saw the same price decrease on Ebay with scandoublers when Indivision 1200 was available from our webstore.
I expect when ZorRAM has sold out, that DKB3128 prices will return to higher pricing. |

So now that A1200 trapdoor RAM board prices are sailing close to the triple-digit mark, will anyone be producing any more of those?

Triple digit? You mean £9.99?
I think you mean accelerator cards. The problem with A1200 trapdoor memory cards is the edge connector. Very expensive custom part. |

The minimum run of ROHS compliant edge A1200 connectors would be around 3000 units, plus tooling costs. At the moment, a production run of 3000x A1200 accelerators or RAM cards simply would not be commercially viable.

Yeah, if you could find NOS connectors you couldn't use them cos they are not RoHS compliant plastic
Jen's Schoenfeld reportedly paid the tooling costs and made some for an A1200 (PPC?) accelerator which never got made. Dunno how many he had, if he sent them to the vendor etc. but might be worth asking (I'm sure you already did). |
