Hi everyone;

Above is a video of some game progress.

I resumed Steam integration, and live tested the Leaderboards and achievements on it.
I didn't think to do achievements, but in the end I added them.
(bellow pictures showing them both).

The artist will start doing the illustrations soon, for the loading screen, menus etc...

Big milestone for Shadow Gangs. I have made first pass balance on the whole game including bosses (6 bosses).

All music is also done (apart 5 seconds very short themes for start, death etc...)

What is left now is illustrations (logo text, intro, loading screens), fixes, more balance, voice acting etc...

It should be finished before May 2020 (PC version).

This looks great. The gameplay appears akin to Shadow Dancer

The image above I suspect is the PC version as it it appears more textured than the video on Kickstarter (from the 1st page)?

The game went through a complete change.
All the characters were recreated, fixed etc..., and all the backgrounds too.

The Kickstarter demo had only one level, no bonus, 1 music, no effects, no shaders etc...
The game now is completely different, but the gameplay foundations are the same.

I am very happy to share a beta video of a small take on the current state of the game.

It looks really cool. I do get the idea that the person who recorded that video has played the game a few thousand times already

Yes , again and again and again...

But I will give a version soon for beta testing (for people that never played the game, so I get their feedback, and adjust the difficultly (there will be 3 modes: easy, normal, and hard mode (hard highly recommended for people that like this type of games, I am thinking about Damian , and also because it is the mode that I actually designed the game around...).

Easy and normal version will be cut-down intensity version from the hard mode.

I am in the final phases now, so May 2020 should be game out month.

I still have the old demo installed that was released before the Kickstarter campaign was canned

Some things from the old demo exist in the final game, particularly the end of the demo where there is the platforms against the wall and ninjas come out.

Also the ninjas coming out of window is in the final game (but in the in game bonus stage).

Thanks a lot for wanting to help beta test the game.

I will setup a beta test build on Steam and send you the key.
(have most stuff setup, need to put in some more stuff, it will be ready for beta test around mid February).

I am currently adding some unlockable bonus content so people are motivated to finish the game on the 3 modes (Easy, normal and hard).

For the price i put it at 29.99$, in Euros i think it is around 25Euros.
(Steam conversion).

I hope this is reasonable!
