[Found: Ultima VII] Looking for a game

ok i have been looking for this game for around 8 years, all i remember, is that my cousin got a new computer and the game was in it, it was around the mid 90's. I do not remember the starting screen, but i do remeber that when the game starts your in a village and a big red face apears and starts talking to you. the game looks like the first diablo, same view point and all, but less dark. that is all i remember, i hope you guys can help me, thank you in advance.

was it RPG game or strategy, do you remember?
