HRTMon support gone in latest WinUAE?

Hi Toni,

just 2 small things I noticed in the current (1.5.0) WinUAE Version.

1. Is the HRT-Mon support gone? I can't find any "enable HRTMon" checkbox anymore :/ It was a nifty feature, would be nice to have it back if possible.

2. I encountered minor bug when UAE is started without loading any configuration, the screen stays black and nothing happens. It think it would be nicer to have some kind of message box telling that there's no config loaded or something.

It is in cartridge rom list, hrtmon isn't special case anymore. (and hasn't been since 1.4.x or something)

There is always config (it is not necessary loaded ) and it will happily run without kickstart rom..

Do I need to have the hrtmon.data file in UAE's directory? Because I of course checked the 'Cartridge ROM file' dropdown menu but it's empty. :/

Yeah, I know. And that's what I meant. In earlier versions there was some requester "Trying to use kickstart replacement" (or smth. ) and UAE started. But in 1.5.0 I just get a black screen. Not that it is very important anyway.

No but you need to run rom scan at least once (which should be automatic)

"kickstart replacement" does not appear to work, probably broke long time before 1.5

Cool, a manual ROM rescan did the trick! However, I'm sorry to report that when I try to enter HRT-Mon UAE crashes. See attached logfile.

No big deal anyway, I guess nobody uses UAE without loading a config.

You are too late, it was already ruined hours ago!

Quick "fix" only for you: hex edit winuae.exe, replace string "hrtmon" (between "custmem2" and "arhrtmon") to "hrtmem" and it should work again

And, you didn't thank me, for pointing out, you fucked up your code for your "upcomming" trainer.
And, what shall you use Hrtmon for ? What if someone "steals" it from you, then you can't do anything ?
