Amiga CD32 Kickstart?
What is the type of chip used as CD32 ROM?
I noticed it has more pins than 27c400. I'd like to read mine with willem if possible to test if its working (got a broken CD32). (sorry if I asked this before) |

It is 512kx16 (=1Megabytes) 27C800 or larger needed (27C160, 27C322)

They should be compatible. (27C160 100% confirmed working on my real CD32)
27C800 is correct when reading original CD32 ROM. (I think 27C800 or 27C160 and larger require extra address line wires if you use standard 16-bit Willem EPROM extension board) Note that CD32 ROM has special data interleaving compared to normal Kickstart ROMs. |
