Nothing special about them, they are dynamically created images for supercomp competitors that show their all time record in the supercomp. Mine for example.

Even The Cyber Druid has one...

Perhaps a whitelist of allowable external image urls could be created (beyond scope of board software?)

That's why I think a custom BBCode would be easier to implement. A whitelist would also work of course if there's a way to use it. I'll ask RCK later to have a look.

Because the external images feature had been abused, it was disabled without the usual consultation. In hindsight, perhaps it would have been proper to post an announcement following this decision, and for that omission I apologize.

However, I have been wondering if there might be a workaround in the circumstances mentioned above, so here's hoping!

But this time, the max-height for the whole signature is limited to 100px.
