Visit for favorite TOSEC outlet. Both the 2-disk version and the single-disked versions are a part of that database, and are generally easy to find.

No problem.
Go to the sixth post of this thread, the one marked in red:
How to find the ADF you want?
And read the instruction.
The game you are searching for is easily findable on every TOSEC list.
What's a TOSEC list? Hmm... this is another question...
It's like a global database with the games available for downloading, and it includes even the Amiga! Oh wow!

(Many thanks to those TOSEC guys for the eternity!)

Hooooo

No one is telling a newbie yet what TOSEC is about.
He still doesn't know anything about it when he's finished reading all the rules. Maybe this should be added somehow.

Errr... no. There are lots of ADFs that aren't in Tosec yet but you can/could find them on various sites.
...
A LOT???

Well, sorry... I guessed to talk with a newbie...
Or maybe are you a bit punctilious?

Click on the links above it. That's why the links were there first. Simple reading of rules and info that was placed there for your convenience in the first place would mean you'd probably already have the game you seek now.

It's like needy people: give them food and they will be full today. Teach them to grow their own and they will be able to fend for themselves in the future.

Angry

Kodoichi: can you stop this offending kind of crap? Please?

The hostility and the peacockery in this forum towards newbies sometimes breaks all bounds. I bet that when Yeleveruk said this...

... he was looking at Jambo first which doesn't have anything but 3/4 of broken links, getting a newbie into desperation more often than you might believe. With a reason! I do know that Jim is *very* busy right now, but does Jambo have to be put at first place then, as it's far from being up-to-date?

And a friend of mine is a profound Micro$oft hater, so he would NEVER be able to download from planetemu.net, because those French tomfools only used proprietary Microsoft HTML code in their scripts and pages, so user-friendly browsers like Opera would not be able to download stuff from there!!
And what if Yeleveruk was a Linux user? You do know that this IE shit isn't available in Linux, don't you? But UAE does exist for Linux! So this means if he has Linux he's lost because there's no other way to get the file?

So Yeleveruk, I know what it is to be a newbie and to be treated like this. So I put up my Xenon 2 version from my own collection in the zone (second button from the right). Disk 1 is NOT in TOSEC yet.

You know what? For the most part, you are right.

I was not, however, trying to be hostile to a new user, although some of my comments were a bit condescending I admit. And I apologize for that and thanks Andreas for pointing this out. Typically, however, users (especially newbies) are using IE and completely ignore the links to the rules and/or links to find adf's.

And the rules should probably get upgraded to include some info on TOSEC and perhaps some info on the links (like the inaccuracies of Jambo and inconsistencies of planetemu.)

No offense intended, Yeleveruk.

I second the idea to upgrade the rules
[More Info] + [More Links] = [Less Confusion]
Which will help users both new and old

No offence taken twistin`ghost. I`m just sorry that i`ve been getting on peoples nerves lol. Just recently found out about emulating and decided to give the amiga ago as i used to have one years ago and trying to find some old games and demos to bring back some memories. like i said before thanx for the help. It`s just annoying when your trying to find them and get nowhere, espicially with demos. Still haven`t managed to find half the demos I had.

I use Opera to download from planetemu.
Some text is not well formatted, but it works.

Is it not possible to force users to read the rules before they post and click on I AGREE before they can post, and it should show up everytime they logon and their post count si say 0 (or maybe less than 5) this way they will get the idea and can be honestly flamed if they don't read

Bippym, I did follow the help on the rules before posting but kept getting broken links or couldn`t download. Thats why I posted the thread to see if anyone knew where I could get it from. I have apoligised for being a pain. I can understand that some people can`t be bothered to look at the rules and just post but I have search everywhere including google and the rules before posting.
