possible bug in image loading

I'll try to explain this as best as I can as I'm a little confused by it all myself .

I use FS-UAE (a lot ) and I recently signed up to the oagd system.

My problem is as follows, I realise that images (titles,covers etc) are not downloaded for any particular config until that config is highlighted in the launcher and that's not a problem.

If I click on a config then the images are automatically downloaded, as they should be, But if I click on one when my internet is disconnected then obviously the images can't be downloaded, But the configs for which I already have the images will now not show them until I restart FS-UAE and click on a config that has images.

Short: without an internet connection, clicking on a config that doesn't have the images downloaded will prevent any config that does have the images downloaded from displaying the images until I restart FS-UAE.

This is not really a major problem as I intend to aquire the images for all of the configs anyway and then the problem will be gone, however in an attempt to save time I downloaded the image archive kindly provided by TCD in this thread ---> http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=915252&postcount=2

The problem is the above issue makes the archive of no use to me as without knowing which game images are included in the archive I inevitably end up clicking on a config for which the images are not included thus preventing all other images from showing.

I'm using openSUSE 12.3 KDE 64 bit and using FS-UAE & Launcher v2.2.3 stable from the package search (1 click install system).

Hi, sounds like a bug if a failed image download causes all subsequent image "requests" to fail. Can you trigger the problem, and then close down FS-UAE Launcher and send the launcher log file to frode@fs-uae.net?

Also, the image archive from oagd.net/download isn't completely up to date (missing images from recently added oagd.net games), I should set up an automatic job to update it regularly ;-)

Hi, I've sent you my log.

I have a full set of images now and everything works fine, But if I disconnect my internet and keep clicking on random configs (even though they all have images) eventually the images will fail to show for any configs until I restart FS-UAE.

It is the launcher log file I need for this though, ...

Well, I've just spent 10 minutes trying to trigger the bug and can't lol

Maybe it's solved now ?

No, I didn't do anything

But I have just updated the snapshot archive over at http://oagd.net/download, so all current images are included.
