Missing ROM.KEY file in AmigaForever2013PLUS Edition
Hi there,
I've just purchased, downloaded and extracted the AmigaForever2013Plus Edition with Wine Bottler and have the "Shared/rom" folder on my HD. But now I am missing the ROM.KEY file ... also the Launcher don't add the the ROMs to my Setup?! Please help! Best, Simon Last edited by oneloneknight; 11 June 2013 at 09:35. |

Please contact Cloanto about the missing ROM.KEY
 It should be in the folder you mentioned.

In AF 2012 it is in that folder, so I have no idea why it isn't there in AF 2013

TCD one more question please. Which program should I take for extracting the Amiga Forever .msi archive?
"The Unarchiver" couldn't extract the archive because... "corrupted"?! TIA |

Best way is just to install it. You could try Universal Extractor, but I'd recommend to simply install it if you can.

I Installed Amiga Forever 2013 Plus Edition (in Windows), and rom.key was installed in ...\Amiga Files\Shared\rom here

I have downloaded a second time the archive and extracted the files the same way like the first time... Wine Bottler(Wine) inside the Mac 10.7 environment and now the rom.key is inside the shared/rom folder. Now I am waiting for my ordered Kryoflux Board to import all my Floppies but for so long it rocks! ;-) ... and I feel much younger!! :-D Thanks for your help! Cheers, Simon |
