Sorry for the delay and thanks for asking!!

Yes!!! I'm Very excited to have finished the intro of Dragon's Lair 2 Amiga version. Now I need a coder who wants to turn this in a executable demo (if possible, of course).
You have followed almost all of the progress from the beginning and I want to thank everyone for the support and feedback.
This was a REALLY hard job, drawing frame by frame in Personal Paint (except for the backgrounds since I only did a clean-up work) but I had a lot of fun doing it!
THIS will be my entry for the Amiga Art Contest 2022.
(Audio added in Premiere for a better experience)

You can watch it here!:

Greetings to all!

Thank you!!! It was a really hard job, but I'm really happy with the results. Hopefully some coder could do a executable demo for this.

Thank you!!!
Well, I have two versions: The whole animation in a single .anim file, which size is 9.6Mb (yes, I know it's a lot for the Amiga), but I also have each shot in a .anim file (less weight than 9.6Mb for each one, of course).

I dont mean to be a downer, but this wont be feasible as game on an Amiga unless you target ~32MB and above systems.
Dithering to that degree simply doesnt compress much. Only large areas of non dithered areas of images will offer useful compression, and considerable levels of compression are needed.
Looks great, but if you'd like it to be more than a short animation you'll need to redo the graphics.
Again, not trying to be a downer, Im just letting you know so you can take technical restrictions/limitations into account going forward if you want it to be more than the intro.

Its not more than an animation, as it is the original game intro ;-).
Hopefully you find a coder to make it an executable and include it f.ex. to the WHDLoad game installer.

I think this is just meant to be the intro for the existing Amiga version of the game. So WHDLoad to the rescue i guess.

Ooops sorry, you beat me to it.

Ah, sorry, my mistake.
When a coder was mentioned I was thinking the intent was to make a game of it.

Depending on what is wanted could probably get away without needing a coder.
You could just use one of the myriad of tools on Aminet to run animations via command line and write an executable AmigaDOS script with the appropriate arguments.

Thank you all for your replies and tips with this!!!
The idea is not to make the whole game, That would be crazy!!! This is just the intro.

As I said in my main post I propose 3 kind of goals for this:

• Low: This will remain as a simple animation to play in an Amiga software such as Personal Paint, etc (without audio).
• Medium: Be able to be reproduced as a Stand-Alone Demo (in this case I would need a coder (I have the audio, Animan made an amiga format for me, thanks!))
• High: WHDLoad version of this intro in order to be played before the original game (or as stand alone WHDLoad Intro)

If a coder wants to do something with this I will follow his requests and if there is something that needs to be redrawn, I will be glad do it!
