Rainbow Islands DS

Quite an interesting idea. It seems you draw the rainbows with the stylus!

That actually looks like a bit of fun. I picked up a DS when they first came out.
Impulse purchase that hardly gets any use.

Nice find Dast!

I'd be very interested to experience how this plays. Sounds quite tricky to me...

Yeah drawing rainbows with the stylus is good, but I can't imagine trying to walk, jump, dodge enemies and hold the stylus!

This post inspired me to dig up the Rainbow Islands ROM for the Gameboy Advance. I didn't even know it existed 'til now. It was labelled 'PD'. I wonder if that's an attempt to evade the anti-piracy org's wrath or if this was really converted by non-Taito people.

Interesting that collision with the enemies is non-existent.

hmmm... I bought a DS a month ago and I really played a lot. I find its a wonderful machine plenty of possibilities.

its 3d power seems like a N64 with expansion pack.. what also surprised me is that can be 3d in both screens at same time.

I cannot see the point of the dual screens myself... so find the DS a waste of time.

Now if they had upped the screen res of the GBA-SP to 256*192 (from 240*160) it would have made a perfect ZX Spectrum emu toy.... and I prefer the look of the SP to the DS
