Could do with this game being fixed as it looks like it could be a good quality game.

"That Other Site" by a certain Kim got the right hint: Relabel disk 2 from 'WTW 2' to 'WTW2' without blank.

For the gamers-to-the-core with a sort of WB abhorrence, take a hex editor and change:

Code:
6E1B0: 05 57 54 57 20 32
to

Code:
6E1B0: 04 57 54 57 32 00

Not a bad little game, quite difficult though.

...and unfortunately the "Data.21" file seems broken

Seems every copy you download from the net and on various CD's are the same DD, even the Wtw_2.lha archive on Aminet has the same 0 byte Data.21 file!

How does it effect things Damien? Does the game stop working, I haven't had a chance to test as not been able to get on my pc or amiga today.

If i can find anything or have it on any of my tonnes of real disks im working through what software checks the dat file?

Thanks to you both for looking.

Edit: just noticed Petasjim uploaded a play from CD Software Explosion 2 Virtual Computer Pets. Has this version been checked?

I don't know, I haven't really played the game but you wouldn't expect "Data.21" to be 0 bytes.

I just downloaded this game and oddly both disk 1 and disk 2 have a data.21 file of 0 bytes. It does load for me though (after renaming disk2).

Someone needs to be good enough to get pass level 20, to see if level 21 then loads.

data.01 - data.26 are not the level numbers, this are different types of datas(picture, music, leveldata).
I am almost sure that data.21 is the highscore file, but on this disk no highscore saved yet.
So i think Disk 2 is fully working!
