Not only EXTEND letters were rare, I think even the other power-ups do not appear often. Like flask-fillers, bombs, chests... just everything.

  • Extend Bubbles didn't appear often enough
  • Extend Bubbles pop anim was wrong

LOL

A tiny bug which would have been very difficult to replicate. It's only by pure chance that I experienced it.

I have the letters E . T E N D; so just needed the X.

Died (you can see the small white "x" on the far right) and was falling; an X just happened to be in the path so got the E X T E N D:

Items should appear like in the arcade after reset and their appearance is controlled by your gameplay. For instance, when you want to launch a potion (flask-fillers) you need to fall through the bottom for at least 15 times. If you do that then in the next level a potion will be launched, but only if no item with higher priority overrides the potion launch.



Currently 23 special items are included.

  • long range Bubbles (red and white sweetie)
  • fast bubbles (purple cyan sweetie)
  • rapid bubbles (orange yellow sweetie)
  • shoe
  • clock
  • 3 different umbrellas
  • 5 different potions
  • 6 different giant cakes/Items
  • blue cross/blue AYS disk -> flood
  • yellow cross/yellow AYS disk -> lightning
  • flashing heart -> invincible
A difference to the arcade is that when you go Game Over i reset all counters while the arcade never resets. So each playthrough is different in the arcade.. i should do that too for the final version.

Nice Tho it's luck which items appear, but the number of items depends on how many multi pops you do. So you seem to do many multi pops

How to explain this; I was on the right hand side; at roughly the same height as the green E when an enemy killed me. There was an X below, and as dying / falling I collected the X. That little white x you see on the right is the last frame of the death sequence.

I guess if possible you should make is so when in the dying sequence it's not possible to pick anything up.

Yup... I died, was falling, picked up the X while the death sequence played, noticed the E X T E N D occurring so quickly pressed <F12> to bring up the GUI and take a screenshot.

A visual glitch appeared next to a trapped whale.. here is the vid.

Although I am holding autofire, when a certain limit is reached it seems I cannot blow any more bubbles as rapidly until some bubbles are popped.

I found a small bug:
in the extend sequence, at the beginning (when the dragon falls from above, before jumping on the letters)
it's stuck on the last frame of animation.
If, at the moment of taking the last letter, the sprite looks up, it remains fixed on this ,
if it's shooting a bubble, the sprite remains open-mouthed, etc.
When it starts jumping over the letters, everything returns to normal.

Found another two possible issues:

In one player game I took the HEART BONUS. It stopped enemies, gave me a shield, but also brought player 2 to the game! Later in the very same game I took heart bonus again and it didn't happen.

YELLOW FLASK - filled the area with stuff, but didn't clear the level from enemies. Those who were trapped inside bubbles remained in the level and were stopped. I am not sure if this is a bug or a feature, though.

Anyway - this version 0.92 is great enhancement!
