Links is a pretty divisive game. Some people think it's the best golf game on the platform, but for others its graphical feats are overshadowed by the incredibly long wait times between shots, even with a fast "modern" Amiga. What do you think?

Did you see this years Amigathon?
Just in case you don't know what it is, here is the info. Every year Amigos Retro Gaming puts on a fund raising event to help out the kids. We donate to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. It's 12 hours of Amiga related antics which has grown this year to include sections from both Amiga Bill and Retro Man Cave. This year we managed to raise a stonking $5,370 which is our best total ever. Thank you to everyone who donated and got involved. We have been posting the event chopped up into sections. This week it is the interview with David Pleasance as he talks about his latest book, From Vultures to Vampires. Here is the Youtube video: [ Show youtube player ] We hope you will join us for Amigathon 2021! |

Hakuna Matata everyone.
Do you think that a Disney license and pretty graphics are all that is needed to make a good platform game? An AGA machine only game which apparently doesn't use any AGA specific features? Any thoughts on that? Join Boat and Aaron as they review The Lion King on the Commodore Amiga. There is also a look at this weeks Amiga News and the usual banter! A budget title that sort of combines pinball and football and adds in a load of demon spectators. It could only be time for Ballistix!
See the full review and the weeks Amiga news here: [ Show youtube player ] Is this a pig in makeup or is there a gem of a game in there? You can also catch the audio only version here: https://anchor.fm/amigospodcast Please share, like, wear the T shirt and shout from the rooftops to let your Amiga and retro gaming pals know about us.
