MIG n ZIGGY
Hi Everyone,
Concepts for a new Amiga Platform game. MIG n ZIGGY 320x256 (C64 16 colour palette). Mig is the Alien and Ziggy is the drone. Mig the main character is still in development He is possibly a combination of (Zool, Turrican, Mario, IK+) The focus at the moment is fine tuning the pixel work and having fun design. Definitely one to keep an eye on! (both of them even)
Why does it refer to the C64 colour palette? |

Thanks for the feedback.
Dreamkatcha, the reference to the palette is a way of me imposing some limit to the design. The game would also ideally play on the very first Amiga, A1000. The palette could change but I do like the connection of C64 and Amiga in some way. I recently have been reading up on the colour/hardware limits on various 8-bit systems , http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...dware_palettes. And found the C64 quite a interesting challenge. |

This graphics looks nice!
I think the C64 palette is very carefully chosen, i didn't really appreciate it at first but when i read about DawnBringer's 16 colour palette and the theory behind it, it occurred to me that the C64 palette is actually quite similar. |
