Hey Amiga friends, a guy talking like this needs some attention, I´m afraid.
And I´m sure, we won´t see him again.

I've looked at the contents of the mac-specific files and it appears to be from the Moana project, which was a port of OS4 to the Mac Mini by ACube Systems.

Lots of public info on it if you Google.

I thought it was suggested to do something like this, but it required too much low level mucking about?
Two options:
-AmigaMac is a most kind & generous programing god! In which case the lack of instruction is understandable - such people often forget it's not that simple for 'mere-mortals'.
-It's a hoax! Present people with a plausible way to gain something they really want & watch the suckers froth @ the mouth when they can't get it to work. The seeming lack of useful info on how to get it to work is a symptom of a lack of substance.

I know which I would like it to be (read my first post) but suspect that it's not the case...
...having said that the author of MiniMig was initially believed to be full of something smelly.

(hey, this is getting my post count up if nothing else)

So, here goes... if this doesn't work, nothing will:

For starters, stop the booting sequence and enter the OF prompt by pressing Ctrl-Alt-O-F *right* after the USB keyboard gets detected.

Now, type exactly that:
boot cd:\\slb

Make sure you use the 'MM_Full_silent_USB' configuration, number 5 probably.

You can update those old kickmodules, but *DON'T DO ANYTHING* to the following files (including kernel files):
battclock.resource-via.kmod
macminiide.device.kmod
dbdma.library
nvram_OF.resource.kmod

If you want to do an iso from those files, you can easly use mkisoft by typing:
mkisofs -v -o <filename to be the output> -R -D -iso-level 3 -h -part -mac-name
-hfs-bless <basedir>/l <basedir>

What's more, you can partition the HDD with workbench on the mini, but it needs booting from the CD anyways.

PS: Got from an anonymous good soul...

"Make sure you use the 'MM_Full_silent_USB' configuration, number 5 probably"

And how exactly do you do that?

Errm, guys. You all have bought/got a pirate copy of Amiga OS4? Otherwise this boot cd (fake or not) is useless.

Nothing, unless someone with the AmigaOS4 copy and a MiniMac runs it, I guess...

It does nothing here, just gives me "No config files found in any supported media/device" messages.
