New FTP

Hi there

I have just setup a New FTP server. At the moment there is currently about 30gig on there. I do have a couple of more DVD'S worth of stuff to go on, but that wont be done for a few days. Some sections are still a little untidy but now its up and running that will be done in due course.

Theres no ratio on it, so you dont have to upload anything before you can download whats wanted. But I do ask if anyone has anything at all that isnt on there please upload it to the server.

Ive spoken to KG and he says its ok for me to upload all his Whdload packs, so basically it will be a little archive.

There is a readme.txt when you login so you can read whats what.

Its user and passworded so if anyone wants access please PM me your desired User and Password. It will run 24/7 unless I need to reboot etc.

Thanks to everyone who sent PM's. And all those who have uploaded stuff. Theres a temp prob with the server. I will need everyone to PM back who wants access again. I was using a buggy version of RaidenFTPD but its all fixed now.

Bit of an update on this as there are a few users now.

Ratio problem is fixed, there is no ratio again.

13 gig update so it now stands at 50gig.

Will be a big update in the next few days. Im thinking the next update will be about 20 gig.

Ive found some adf's in my games collection which will be updated soon, some of the ADF'S seem to be MIA or UNRELEASED on HOL. So might be good. But I will post in that section when I get to them

1. Citadel - Massive.... and slow...(the frontend is a bit eek as well)

Thanks for sending those. I am going to add a Members.Games section. Might be nice for people to share some of the stuff they have made good or bad. I cant make games but it would be nice to see what others have done.

Hmm, I am not able to download from the ftp anymore.
Everytime the error message "430 Connection closed. User has no credit to download" appears.
What did I wrong?

It worked 2 day ago without problems.
Is there a limitation in downloading or what does the message mean ?

Commone sense really. You have downloaded over 1.2 gig, uploaded 0. But thats not the problem its cause you queue up about 600megs worth in one go. You need to remember its my BW thats being used and other people are using it as well. So slow down abit, dont try and grab everything at once and understand there are other users

Well, when you check my dowloads, you can see that I did download several CDTV Images, this images are very big instead of "normal" ADFs For example: One of them had more that 400MB !
Due to that I cause many traffic.
Well how long will I get no access now ? And when can I continue downloading ?

The matter of the upload: Nearly everthing I have at my computer is still on your server...

If any special demands I can check and then I will certainly load it up !

Ok Last update from me. Its currently sitting at 62gig (Everything I own). Every section has been updated. If anyone needs to leech big files (200m+), please do one per day to allow speed for others. Would be nice to get some more members made games on there. Please dont upload dupes, just check before uploading.
