ModExplorerCE v1.0: This is a Classic Multiplatform version of ModeExplorer indicated more for OS3 systems on Real Machines, with the Emulation you can safely use the standard version.

Among the features of this "Light" version there are History, Navigation, a single Playlist, Quick Search for Artists and Tracks only.

In this release some other features have been removed or adapted to not overload the 68k-CPU, ARexx scripts are disabled and the Graphics part has been removed.

Tested ModExplorerCE with Amiga OS 3.9 and OS 3.2, in addition to the speed everything worked well, only problem in the FPU version that does not start for error "Loading PlugIn "MUIRoyale", give me confirmation for a possible report to its author, thanks.

Strange error since the standard version ModExplorerFPU works fine !

I'm a bit puzzled. With the CE version, what are the requirements?
- Do we still need MUI?
- Do we still need other libs?

Update:

OK, I got it running, on an A1200 (emulated in WinUAE for now, but preparing for real hardware, so using built-in bsdsocket).
Installed:
- MUI 3.8
- codesets
- guifx no fpu
- AHi 4.18 (do I need this?)

Can I download mods locally?

I'd love to use this as a way to look for cool tunes for the PT1210 DJ software.

CE version requires the same requirements as the NG version.

CE is only a slimmed-down, lighter version for the slightly expanded OS3 systems.

For saving MODs, there is a 'Record' Tab, but this function only exists for the NG version.

You could ask the developer to add the 'Record' Tab to the CE version as well.
