I emailed two of them (ebay Id:andyscott44 and wac1664) and told them if they knew that they are selling illegal copies of Amiga games and that I reported them to ebay.
That what they wrote back to me
andyscott44:'Hi
So why could you not just worn me that this was ilegal material and i would have just deleted itAndrew'
wac1664:I dropship that item from a company, so had no idea it might have copyright problems, nice of you to go reporting me to everyone before you had facts. Nice Person !!'

What idiots.

It never was, not even the PC version. These are photoshop releases. I bet you get a homemade cd without a sticker/print on it.

PC version of LotT is free now:

Maybe revolution can do something about it.

They have certainly not relinquished the copyright, so they would probably be rather miffed at seeing this too. Unless of course the shop have made a deal with them, but looking at the other stuff, I very much doubt it.

Did anyone ever buy one of these CDs? Or are we all too smart for that on here? I'm curious as to what exactly is on them but I'm also loathe to give them any money (and perhaps legitimise the whole shady business!) just to find out.

@those who reported the auctions to eBay: what did you say to get the auctions pulled?

eBay have a Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) Programme that could be used to speed the removal of these auctions. As far as I understand it, "rights owners" - Wepl & the WHDLoad patch authors - need to fill in a form and fax it to eBay to join the programme and after that you can report infringing auctions easily by email. You can also authorise a 3rd party to act on your behalf in this respect so it would be possible for one person to be the authorised VeRO agent of every WHDLoad team member who objects to these CDs being sold for profit and be the single point of contact for reporting bad auctions.

I'll probably join up for my own interests, its no secret that these things seriously annoy me. Are there any other WHDLoad teamers on here who also object and would be interested in joining VeRO ?

If anyone wants too, if you can make a second/fake account, click "Buy it Now", then give him a negative feedback.
I don't know if you need to put in bank details for a buyers account, I shouldn't think so thogh, I think a fake name and details will work.
